A sincere thank you both to the generous businesses that participated in this event and to the diners and drinkers of Williamsburg and beyond for getting out last night and dropping down money. We will have an update soon as to the amount of money raised but the initial reports sound good!
Businesses can drop their checks, made out to the American Red Cross of Greater New York at Vine Wine on 616 Lorimer St.

Dine Out Williamsburg for Sandy Relief
As members of the Williamsburg community, most of us came out unscathed by last week’s Hurricane Sandy. If anything, businesses saw a boom from this disaster, and many of us would like to pay it forward.
This Thursday, November 8th, we will be holding Dine Out Williamsburg for Sandy Relief. All restaurants, bars, and businesses need to do to participate is pledge 10-20% of gross sales that night to the Red Cross’ Sandy relief efforts. All diners have to do is dine, drink, and spend money at one (or many!) participating businesses.
All restaurants/bars/retail businesses in the North Brooklyn are welcome to join — the more the merrier. Please email dineoutwilliamsburg@gmail.com for more details.
